Bitumen 10/20 — The Hardest Standard Grade We Produce
Engineered for extreme heat and heavy industrial loads where even 20/30 isn’t stiff enough.
Bitumen 10/20 is classified by needle penetration depth (10–20 mm/0.1 at 25°C) and a correspondingly high softening point, per EN 1426 and EN 1427. This combination places it at the stiffest end of the standard penetration scale — the low penetration value means minimal deformation under load, while the elevated softening point delays the onset of flow at high service temperatures far longer than mid-range grades like 60/70. That stiffness comes at the cost of flexibility: 10/20 has limited elongation capacity at low temperatures, which is why it’s rarely specified for direct paving in cooler climates and instead finds its niche where sustained heat, not cold, is the dominant engineering concern. Produced and packaged at our own facility, sourced directly from Source Petrochemical Refinery, with every batch independently verifiable through SGS or Geo Chem inspection.
